 Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) invites applications from intending candidates in the prescribed application form who are Indian Citizens for engagement of contract basis under ASDMA.

Posts : 

1. Senior Consultant (Disaster Management)

No of posts: 1

Essential Qualification & Experience:

a) Master’s degree in any discipline ( preferably in Disaster Management, Social Work, Sociology, Geography, Agriculture, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning)

b) Candidates should have minimum experience of 10 years in the fields related to Disaster Management-Post Qualification.

c) Candidates having M.Phil degree in the relevant field are required to have minimum experience of 8 years.

d) Candidates having PhD degree in the relevant field are required to have minimum experience of 5 years.

e) Candidates must also have proven experience in the field of preparation of Disaster Management Plans, Guidelines, SOPs working in the area related to Disaster Management. 

f) Preference will be given to candidates with higher experience or candidates who have experience of working with Central / State Government Departments.
 

Age Limit: The maximum age limit will be 65 years.

Pay: Rs. 100000/- per month

2. Consultant (Disaster Management)

No of posts: 7

Essential Qualification & Experience:

a) Master’s degree in any discipline ( preferably in Disaster Management, Social Work, Sociology, Geography, Agriculture, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning)

b) Candidates should have minimum post qualification experience of 5 years in the fields related to Disaster Management Candidates having PhD degree in the relevant field are required to have minimum experience of 3 years.

c) Candidates must also have reasonable experience in the field of preparation of Disaster Management Plans, Guidelines, SOPs  related to Disaster Management.

d) Preference will be given to candidates with higher experience or candidates who have experience of working with Central / State Government Departments.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit will be 65 years.

Pay: Rs.70000/- per month

3. Technical Assistant (IT)
No of posts: 1

Essential Qualification & Experience:
a) Graduation in any discipline

b) Typing speed of 40 wpm.

c) Diploma / Certificate Course ( 1 year ) in Computer.

d) Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), Adobe Reader, Internet, E-mail etc.

e) Candidates should have minimum experience of 3 years in similar position

f) Should have experience of working with Government department / agency

Age Limit: The maximum age limit will be 35 years.

Pay: Rs.22000/- per month
